Jayaram 5D Theatre was inaugurated on 9th November 2012 by Mr.Mohan (Kalyana Malai Fame). Mr.Jayaram, Director of Jayaram Hitech Media Service who spoke to us said that it costed more than one crore for setting up the 5D theatre. He added that the theatre has a capacity of 24 seats and the theatre would project animation films that could be viewed by wearing special glasses.
He also added that the theatre is being equipped with special chairs which would be moved using hydraulic systems according to the visual and water would be sprayed when there is a rain scene in the film. He also said that the hydraulic system and water sprayers are controlled automatically by a software.
