A free eye camp was organised by Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association in association with Shankar Eye Hospital, Chennai at the office of the “FEFSI” at Vadapalani in Chennai. This eye camp was conducted specially for the benefit of the employees of Tamil Film Industry and its family members. It is to be noted that Shankar Eye Hospital is owned by Dr.Vijayashankar, son of veteran late actor Jaishankar.
Mr.Cho.Ramaswamy, Journalist, actor and political critic was the chief guest who presided the free eye camp. Mr.Radhakrishnan IAS, Directors Balumahendra, Lingusamy, Prabhu Solomon, Aslam, Indhu Kovilan, Four Frames Kalyan and many others were present who graced the event with success.
